fork
housing. This, coupled with the thick center section, greatly enhances
the ability of the brace to resist
spread, closure, and twist of the forks, and also makes the forks act
as a unit, rather than two independent forks. Other fork braces leave
valuable clamping surfaces untouched, losing resistance to twisting,
and their thin center sections on do little to resist twist, closure,
or independent fork housing travel. The 2-piece design also avoids the
flex found in bolt-on center sections. Weighs less than two pounds - just a few ounces more than the lightest 5-piece braces. |
